Working smarter, not harder… at home!
Is there a way to make your home more functional?
My job is immensely rewarding. I love it when you love your home as a result of our efforts. But the biggest payout is often from the way it works for your everyday life. Renovations that change the overall purpose of a space are worth the effort.
Maybe we can carve out a home office so paperwork does not become clutter in the kitchen?
Can we move the washer dryer upstairs so you don’t have to carry laundry up and down stairs all the time?
Is the outdated living room or family room not being used and can be changed to another function?
How are you entering your home? Do you have a space to drop your keys, cell phone and glasses… or does it go in the kitchen?
In my own home, moving the laundry upstairs was a total game changer for me. We were renovating the bathroom and I realized that if I gave up the double closet in the guest room behind that bathroom, I wouldn’t have to carry laundry up and down the stairs. It was perhaps, the best renovation ever. The space that the washer/dryer was originally in is far better used as shelving… and I think of that every I reach for extra paper towels. Lol
