"I had interviewed many interior designers to help me create my home office prior to speaking with Marcy. When I first spoke with her on the phone and she explained her concept of "Design Therapy", I thought it was a fantastic idea and just what I needed. I loved that I could tell that she really just wanted to help me design an office that I would feel comfortable in and enjoy.  Marcy stood out to me as it was very apparent that she was not trying to push me to do things I did not want to do (while still making meaningful suggestions that actually made me look at things differently than I originally did). "I am so happy I found Marcy with Romancing the Home!! She is amazing!! I had been looking around at different design services, and one day I passed her car advertising Romancing the Home. I was intrigued by the name and gave her a call. I was so glad I did! She is priced just right, and the services she provides are unmatched.  I had originally scheduled her for a design therapy session for my living room, but that time can be used however you want once you are with her.  I ended up asking for her advice about a possible kitchen update we were considering. She took us in a totally different direction, for the better! We thought  we were going to change our floors and backsplash, but she made us understand why it would be a better outcome if we invested in changing our countertops instead of our floor. I never thought I would spend money on new countertops, but it made sense once she explained it! She met us at the tile store to help us in our selection.  I am so glad she joined us - I was so wrong with what color scheme we needed to match our existing cabinets and floors.  The stores all know her well, sing her praises and love working with her.
